About the event
Our Workshop Aim: to leave behind the “art product” for a day and to focus on the process of art and the unique expression of every member. This is about how the art FEELS, not how it looks. Each participant will tune into themselves, play together and share experiences. Using emotions as a theme for creation, we explain how art can liberate us to express ourselves and connect with others.
-Artists will enjoy a series of 3 engaging exercises that encourage emotional self-discovery, spontaneity, and playfulness.
-A practice of leaving behind the pressure of finished products and instead revelling in the joy of creation.
-Supplies are available, as well as brought by participants.
*The Red Barn welcomes all to join us for our weekly session on Fridays from 10-2 pm in creating art with the medium of choice.
We always invite you to bring your art stash of supplies.
