Meaning of Our Symbol
The circle represents:
  • Community — everyone equal, everyone welcome

  • Continuity — creativity as a lifelong journey

  • Safety — a container where people can show up as they are

  • Wholeness — body, mind, spirit, and story all included

Circles are where we gather.
Circles are how we grow.

The star represents:
  • Your inner spark — creativity, intuition, expression

  • Guidance — the light we carry forward

  • Hope — a reminder that even small creations change lives

  • Each person’s unique brilliance

Together, the circle and star symbolize our mission:
a safe community space (circle) that protects, nurtures, and celebrates each person’s creative spark (star).

What is Soul Art all about?

Soul Art is a grassroots, community-rooted non-profit dedicated to making expressive arts accessible, sustainable, and alive in everyday life. We believe creativity isn’t a luxury — it’s a form of healing, belonging, and connection that every community deserves. Our mission is simple: to create safe, inclusive spaces where people can gather, express themselves, and reconnect with their inner spark through art, story, movement, and shared experience. Why It’s a Grassroots Movement Soul Art was born in living rooms, community halls, the Red Barn, and small circles of people who wanted more connection and creative expression. There is no hierarchy, no gatekeeping — just people gathering, sharing, and creating together. We focus on: Community-led expressive art circles Low-barrier workshops Donation-based and accessible events Creative projects that strengthen belonging and mental wellness Partnerships with local families, youth, and organizations Everything we do is grounded in reciprocity, accessibility, and the belief that creativity belongs to everyone.
